DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a volunteer for campground host at Koomer Ridge Campground for the upcoming winter season.
Daniel Boone National Forest is seeking an on-site volunteer for the Koomer Ridge Campground for the upcoming winter season (December 1st – March 15th). Candidates must provide their own RV camper and live on site for the duration of the appointment. A camping pad with electricity will be provided. Volunteers will be required to provide up to 30 hours of volunteer service per week.
DUTIES
Duties of the position include monitoring campground activities daily, checking campers in, and reporting any safety or other concerns to Forest personnel as needed. Visitor use is moderate during the winter months. Some light cleaning or maintenance duties will be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience as a campground host is preferred, but not required. Must keep a well-groomed appearance. Must have RV/ Camper. Free electric.
