Seeking to fill an immediate need for a janitorial/grounds maintenance volunteer(s); can be an individual or a couple.

US Army Corps of Engineers Lower Granite Dam Project is seeking 1 individual or 1 couple to perform park maintenance and janitorial duties at Swallows Park in Clarkston, WA.  This position will have an immediate start date and seeking 1-year commitment.  The planned workdays will be Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday.  Work schedules can be flexible; however, applicants must work 20+ hours per week per person.  All cleaning supplies and protective equipment will be provided along with an RV site with full hook-up.
DUTIES

Primary duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Locking and unlocking gates (early morning and evening)
  • Locking and unlocking gates (early morning and evening)
  • Filling dog bag dispensers
  • Emptying garbage cans
  • Cleaning restrooms
  • Cleaning fire pits
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Desire to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and live in a natural outdoor setting, with your own RV.
  • Desire to meet and interact with people from varied backgrounds.
  • Ability to perform janitorial/grounds maintenance type work (Example: Ability to lift and carry approximately 30 pounds for 50 feet).
