DESCRIPTION:
Seeking to fill long-term (6+ months) Volunteer Park Host positions at Waco Lake. Parks Hosts will be primarily providing visitor assistance either in campgrounds, or in our day-use areas. There will be no money collection duties, nor sales required. In exchange for your service, you will be provided with a Park Host site with full hookups (Water/Electric/Sewer). 20 hours a week minimum required.
Provide hospitality, customer service, and promote safe responsible use of Corps of Engineers
amenities to park guests. Open park gates at 6am, and close park gates at 10pm. Complete rounds throughout the park to ensure compliance with Park rules and regulations, and provide on-site reports to the Gatehouse attendants. Will assist with light cleaning/upkeep of park facilities as needed.
A valid state-issued Driver’s License is required, as well as the use of your personal vehicle to to perform two daily rounds (at a minimum) throughout the park.
