Camp Host & Housekeeping

We have a part-time Camp Host / Housekeeping position open for April – October, 2023.  This position includes accommodations plus pay.  Some hours /days are flexible and include two evenings per week. The position also includes housekeeping and light groundskeeping 3-4 hours per day,  5 days per week.  Accommodations can be a private camping cabin, or a partial hookup site for a small RV/Camper or Van.  There is a fully equipped central kitchen, showers and toilets are close to the camping cabin and small RV site.  We also have free onsite laundry for our host/housekeeping team.

Bright Star Campground is located 5 miles from downtown Cortez, Colorado.  Cannabis is legal in Colorado and allowed at Bright Star Campground in the privacy of your site.

Other opportunities for the Hosts include selling your own goods such as small art, homemade products or baked goods (you can use the Camp Kitchen and possibly the small camp store building.  There is also potential to provide professional services such as Massage or Yoga if you are certified in those.  HOST MUST HAVE EXCELLENT HOSPITALITY SKILLS, a clean appearance & communicate effectively through texting with management and arriving guests.  Although more information about this position will be posted soon, you can  EMAIL us now, send a resume, tell us about yourselves, your RV, your pets, and ask any questions :).
