Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park
Five RV sites with full hook-ups along the Big Sur River in a beautiful redwood forest. 35′ limit, no pull-through. Approximately 40 minutes south of Carmel, this popular 189-site campground offers hiking trails, river access, waterfalls, a Nature Center, a lodge and restaurant concession. Duties vary and can include camp checks, firewood sales, staffing the Nature Center, kiosk operation and interpretation. Unreliable phone, internet and satellite service, but most local businesses provide adequate internet. Hosting opportunities available year-round.
