WORK ENVIRONMENT
Outdoor Work Environment:

• The Klamath River area is generally hot and dry during the summer: day-time high temperatures routinely exceed 100 degrees F; overnight low temperatures are generally in the 60 degrees F range. Cool and rainy weather typically commences in late September.

• Klamath River flows are controlled by upstream dam and hydroelectric facilities. Water temperatures are cold during snowmelt season through June, then warm to over 70 degrees during mid-summer. Water quality can be adversely affected by blue-green algae during the late summer.
