Campground Host

Position Description: The Campground Host will be the onsite manager of the 46th Street Campgrounds for the duration of the 2022 Indiana State Fair. This position will manage checking in campers as they arrive, escorting campers to their assigned sites and responding to any needs or concerns they may have while camping. The Campground Host will be provided an organized list of arrivals with the assigned sites as well as a list of open sites to relocate campers if there are issues with their assigned sites.

– Setup the camping check-in station at the Campground

– Informing ISF Maintenance with any campsite issues or amenities (water, power, etc.)

– Selling bagged ice to campers

– Responding to campers concerns and relaying information to the Supervisor

– Daily communication with Supervisor to discuss arrivals and departures

Requirements:
– Applicant must be organized and able to keep track of multiple items at once

– Applicant must be customer-service oriented

– Applicant must be generally familiar with common camping/RV terminology

– It is preferred that the applicant have previous experience in a camping role or generally understand the process of checking in/out campers

– It is preferred that the applicant be competent in basic computer programs; i.e. Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google Chrome, etc.

Contracted Dates: July 25th, 2022 –  August 22nd, 2022 | 8:00AM – 8:00PM

Compensation: $6,000.00
Additional Consideration: Complimentary campsite at the 46th Street Campgrounds for the duration of the “Contracted Dates”
