Job Description
The City of Biwabik is looking for a campground host who will be required to live on site for the entire camping season, provide excellent customer service to campground guests, ensure campers get checked in and properly checked out on time, tell campers about local points of interest and where they can find things like fuel, bait, and groceries.
As part of operating the campground you’ll be expected to perform light campground maintenance, pick up litter, sweep, restock toilet supplies, clean shower houses/bathrooms, make minor emergency repairs, mow, pick up branches and debris.
You’ll be an excellent host by setting a good example by following all rules, and practice good housekeeping at all times in and around the host site. You’ll be required to be observant and advise campers of any rules they may not be aware of. You’ll provide regular reports to the city and keep the City Administrator updated on the day-to-day operation.
The contracted campground host will be provided with one free site to place their camper or RV on for the summer. Compensation for the season is $24,000.
