Do you have what it takes to live in a camp site and conduct the full operation of the campground for the summer?
You could be a Campground Host! We are looking for a dedicated and passionate camper(s) who is/are willing to be our Campground Host contractor managing the full operation of our city campground for the summer.
The Campground Host Contract comes with the perk of one free Host Site for the season and pay commensurate with experience.
We are looking for a host who will be required to live on site for the entire camping season, provide excellent customer service to campground guests, manage reservations, ensure campers get checked in and properly checked out on time, tell campers about local points of interest and where they can find things like fuel, bait, and groceries.
As part of operating the campground you’ll be expected to perform light campground maintenance, pick up litter, sweep, restock toilet supplies, clean shower houses/bathrooms, make minor emergency repairs, mow, pick up branches and debris.
You’ll be an excellent host by setting a good example by following all rules, and practice good housekeeping at all times in and around the host site. You’ll be required to be observant and advise campers of any rules they may not be aware of. You’ll provide regular reports to the city and keep the City Administrator updated on the day-to-day operation.
