Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Camphost to assist with front desk operations, guest services, and light park duties. This role is ideal for individuals or couples who enjoy working with people and take pride in creating a great guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Services / Front Desk
– Greet and check in guests
– Answer phones and assist with reservations and questions
– Provide local recommendations (restaurants, attractions, activities)
– Ensure every guest interaction is positive and professional
Park Support
– Conduct site checks to ensure sites are clean and ready
– Assist guests with general needs during their stay
– Help maintain a clean and welcoming park environment
Facilities
– Assist with cleaning restrooms and common areas on a rotating team schedule
– Report maintenance issues as needed
Evening On-Call
– Carry the on-call phone during assigned shifts
– Respond to minor guest needs or issues after office hours
Qualifications
– Strong hospitality and customer service skills
– Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
– Reliable and able to work independently
– Comfortable with light physical tasks
– Previous campground or hospitality experience is a plus
Schedule
– Part-time: 20–30 hours per week
– Must be available for evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Compensation & Perks
– Hourly pay: $12-$18/hr
