Job Description
The Oregon Department of Forestry is currently recruiting Camp Host positions for campgrounds across the Tillamook State Forest.
State Forest campgrounds range from rustic to developed, and Camp Host needs adjust across the spectrum. For the 2022 summer season, the department is actively recruiting for full season hosts at Jones Creek Campground and Browns Camp OHV Campground, along with shorter-term hosts elsewhere.
Jones Creek Campground is situated along the Wilson River and Oregon Highway 6. It has over 40 sites that are full most of the year from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Host’s have access to showers, laundry facilities, and internet at the Tillamook Forest Center.
Browns Camp OHV Campground is the heart of the Tillamook State Forest’s OHV system. The campground’s 30 sites are full most weekends and the campground’s day-use/staging area is home to many OHV events throughout the year.
