Job Description
Ray’s Campground is looking for a Camp Host(s) for the 2023 Season.
Ray’s Campground is located in Fayette County, West Virginia, 10 minutes from Fayetteville, WV. We are a small, family owned, campground. Near the New River Gorge National Park with access to excellent rock climbing and water sports.
This can be a couple or an individual. Estimated average workload is 25 hours per week. More work (and salary) can be provided if interested.
Position runs April/May through October/November, exact dates negotiable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Live on-site
Provide campground and recreational area information to campers.
Register overnight campers.
Regularly inspect campground restrooms, picnic areas, campsites, and campfire pits to ensure they are safe and clean.
Clean and maintain shower house and bathrooms.
Selling firewood and ice.
Cutting & trimming grass.
Very light maintenance.
Any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Customer service experience
Communication skills necessary to deal effectively in difficult situations
Must be able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25lbs

Living with in 20 minutes of a National Park, two State Parks, and a 2,700 acre lake.
