Job Description

River Point RV Park is seeking dynamic, guest-oriented individuals or couples to serve as long-term, on-site staff members in our brand new RV community in Ontario, OR. Located in Eastern Oregon near the Snake River, nestled at the west end of the Treasure Valley, we are a year-round, family and pet-friendly park, located conveniently near I-84. Ontario has a small town feel with all the shopping and conveniences of a larger city. We’re only a 50 minute drive from the Boise metro area. As an Assistant Manager you will have the opportunity to greet and serve our customers daily. You will assist the Manager of the park in his/her duties and may fill in as the manager in his/her absence. It is desired that you live on-site – must have your own RV, 2007 model year or newer (older models subject to manager approval). Work 12 hours per week in exchange for RV stall – 20A/30A/50A electric with water/sewer hook-ups. Potential for extra paid hours, up to 30 total hours worked per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Provide excellent customer service, welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner. Dealing with customer issues with courtesy and compassion
-Greet and assist park customers with move-in and check-out procedures including guiding them into their RV stall
-Walk the premises (15 acres) or drive the park vehicle to engage with park guests and ensure a safe and clean environment for co-workers and tenants
-Answer phones including off hours, when on call
-Help qualify potential long term stay customers
-Assist and answer questions and help with reservations.
-Log/track customer inquiries/issues and suggest recommendation to leadership team.
-Navigate tenant records (Campspot software)
-Help with monthly billing of electricity and rent, collections on past due accounts
-Promote park to potential tenants
-Enforce park rules and guidelines
-Maintain an organized office environment
-Continually work to improve park experience for tenants, make suggestions for improvement to leadership team
-Handle packages that are delivered to office for tenants
-Coordinate and host park events.
-Light janitorial duties and park clean-up as needed
-Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed

Qualifications:

-Excellent customer service skills.
-Working knowledge of park policies and procedures.
-Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and intermediate computer skills.
-Campspot reservation software experience a plus, but will train the right individual
-Able to assist guests with parking their RVs
-Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
-Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 30 lbs.
-Able to operate a motor vehicle, unimpaired
-General cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping skills (mowing, weeding, etc.)
-Able to work in all weather conditions
-Innovative and creative thinker
-Proven work track record
