Job Description

This position is a part time position responsible for managing the entire guest experience for a property with 10 rentable motel-like rooms available year round and 8 RV spots that are available from April through September. The property is The Spruce Lodge located in South Fork, CO. This includes managing reservations, turning over rooms and ensuring an excellent guest experience. A job description summary is below.

This is a part time position averaging 3-4 work days per week with occasional needs for daily help when the Operations Manager is out of town.

On top of an RV space or hotel room with kitchenette, a weekly stipend will be provided. Pets are allowed if bringing your own RV. No pets allowed for use of the hotel apartment with kitchenette.

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day guest experience and operational
excellence at the Spruce Lodge. The role combines hospitality and light management duties
to support the overall success and presentation of the Lodge as a historic and welcoming
property.
● Manage the guest experience for all overnight and day visitors
● Coordinate check-in and check-out for reservations
● Proactively clean and turn over rooms for all overnight stays
● Maintain cleaning cart, laundry room, and ensure clean linens are ready
● Supervise cleaning staff
● Alert the Lodge Manager/Owner of any maintenance needs discovered or reported and
coordinate repair
● Maintain appearance of exterior grounds, including trash removal
● Be available and responsive to inquiries from active guests

Management and Marketing Responsibilities:
● Coordinate special promotions, group stays, or local events connected to the Lodge
● Maintain communication with leadership regarding guest feedback and recommend
improvements to enhance service quality
● Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
● Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a good attitude
● Self-starter with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
● Resourceful, dependable, and motivated to maintain high standards of hospitality
● Comfortable using basic office, reservation system, and online tools for communication
and marketing updates

● Must meet or exceed all deadlines with a positive attitude
● Must be able to work independently within assigned parameters
Physical Requirements
● Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with
ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
● Regular, punctual attendance required
● Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
● Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
