DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a volunteer for campground host at Tailwater Campground for the upcoming winter season.
The Corps of Engineers at Barren River Lake is seeking an on-site volunteer for the Tailwater Campground for the upcoming winter season (October 15-April 30). Candidates must provide their own RV camper and live on site for the duration of the appointment. A camping pad with electricity, water, and sewer will be provided. Volunteers will be required to provide up to 30 hours of volunteer service per week.
DUTIES
Duties of the position include monitoring campground activities daily, checking campers in and out on the Recreation.gov R1S platform, and reporting any safety or other concerns to Corps personnel as needed. No regular cleaning or maintenance duties will be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience as a campground host is preferred, but not required. Must keep a well-groomed appearance at all times.
