DESCRIPTION:
Seeking to fill up to two Visitor Center custodial positions from April 15 – September 30, 2023, and other special events as needed. Campsite included!
Volunteers needed for the Harry S. Truman Visitor Center, a Class A regional visitor center. Volunteer work would entail answering the phone, greeting visitors, and providing them with information about the visitor center and lake project. Volunteers may also provide interpretive programming if they desire. This position comes with a full hookup site (shaded) in a controlled access area.
DUTIES
Providing visitors with information and (if desired) interpretive programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong people skills, ability to work both independently and with others, maintain customer service amongst repetitive questions. Ability to operate a UTV or golf cart during special events. Able to work on weekends and summer holidays (Mondays)
