Job Description
Frio Canyon Estates is looking for a host for our homeowner’s association private park. The park is located on the bank of the Frio River, about 2 miles south of Garner State Park in the Hill Country of Texas.
Park Host Duties include:
· Collect contact information for all overnight campers.
· Collect fees or provide information to overnight campers for how to pay electronically.
· Hand out park rules to overnight campers.
· Collect contact information on day entrants (as possible – not expecting full time coverage).
· Clean restrooms at least twice from Monday-Friday and daily Saturday and Sunday.
· Mow, weed-eat, light maintenance of the property including light tree trimming and brush maintenance (2” branches and below). Mowing approximately 3 acres at least once per week (weather dependent) during the summer, typically on Wednesday or Thursday and as needed for other months.
· Clear foliage along steps to river and clean/clear steps on Friday of each week from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
· Maintenance of river level including trash pickup and weed maintenance daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day and weekly for the remainder of the year.
· Light maintenance repairs (light bulb changes, sweeping, general handyman of same nature)
· Identification and communication of larger maintenance issues.
· Serve as a point of contact for contractors that might need entrance to or provide services to the park.
· Inform board members real time/near real time of entrant rule violations (we are not expecting the host to enforce rules only make board members aware so that they can manage the situation).
· Minimum days and times for presence at the park can be negotiated but are roughly a general presence Monday-Thursday and increased presence Friday noon – Sunday at 6 pm including a presence during the night unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Presence during Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
In return:
· Access to 425’ of the Frio River (Frio River (visituvaldecounty.com)) via river park owned by Frio Canyon Estates Property Owner’s Association.
· Full RV hookup (well water, sewer, electricity but with usage cap)
· Guest privileges (limited to 4 guests per visit) including overnight stays at a rate consistent with property owner guests.
Would prefer someone who is available year-round but willing to consider seasonal support.
