Job Description
Wildwood Resort, located on the shores of largest man-made lake in the south, the Toledo Bend Reservoir is looking for a full-time working couple, to assist with various duties around the resort. This is a 70 acre, 31 cabin, 45 RV site that includes a boat dock, fishing pier, animal pen, and water park, and event center (weddings, corporate meetings, family reunions, birthdays, etc.). The duties required are groundskeeping, maintenance, front office, laundry, and housekeeping. An RV site with full hook-ups or, possibly a cabin, is available for housing. Since this is a “live-on-site” position, it is preferred that both will be employed. The peak season is April – September but the resort is open year-round. Any trades-related experience (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is a plus.
Grounds/maintenance/houskeeping duties include mowing/trimming of lawns, periodic tree and shrub trimming and cabin cleanup, cleaning charcoal grills, and general park upkeep. As each cabin is a standalone house with full kitchens and baths, all related maintenance tasks are performed regularly.
Office/activities duties include excellent customer service, greeting and registering guests, office clean up, participation in activities as needed, and helping customers in the gift shop. Resnexus experience is a plus. The laundry is in the office building and, therefore, help here is part of office duties.
