JOB DESCRIPTION:
Agate Fossil Beds National Monument has 2 beautiful, cement RV pads with full hook-ups within the ranger housing neighborhood of 4 houses. A short trail connects the neighborhood to the visitor center for volunteers working with interpretation. The maintenance barn is within the neighborhood.
This position is for individuals who have an RV that can be on our property, or who live locally.
We need volunteers who are passionate about helping the park look amazing for our visitors. Maintenance volunteers will specifically help with mowing the 3,000 acre property using a ride-in mower. There will also be weed-whacking and tree/bush pruning as needed. Painting and other facility upkeep can be assigned as determined by the maintenance lead.
Training will be provided.
