JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Navarro Mills Lake is looking for 1 or 2 administrative volunteers to help with administrative tasks such as answering phones and directing calls, restocking brochures, meeting and greeting the public, occasional computer work, promoting the Corps water safety initiative, and other light duties as needed. The position requires the volunteer(s) to live in a campground but work in an office environment around 20 hours per week. The Corps will provide a full service 50-amp campsite to volunteers.
Requirements:
– Volunteer must provide their own camper (must be in good repair and appearance)
– Must answer phones quickly and professionally
– Ability to communicate politely and effectively with the public and USACE staff, contactors, and volunteers
– Ability to maintain a set schedule of around 20 hours per week
