Maintenance Host

 Please come work with Tumalo State Park staff in beautiful Bend Oregon. Your private full hook up camp site is brand new and located at Tumalo Managment Unit’s office/shop site. There is 50 amp service, frost free faucet, and sewer at the site.  We ask you to work approximately 4 hours a day, 5 days a week helping rangers with light maintainance tasks such as repair of toilets, and other fixtures, servicing equipment such as weedeaters, gators and mowers,special projects as assigned. You would also be helping in the organization of our new shop and helping with snow removal using the plow, snow blower with heated handles and shovels.  This is a new position created so that we have someone living on site for added security of our new office/shop site.

The rest of your time is free to spend exploring the High Lakes, rivers and hiking trails, tasting Bends vast array of craft beers, taking in the shops and enjoying the Central Oregon sunshine.  If you are a skier an added bonus is that Mount Bachelor is approximately 45 minutes from the park.
