Volunteers needed at Tennessee NWR to work on facility and grounds maintenance. RV pad located at our Duck River Bottoms subheadquarters near New Johnsonville, TN.
We exchange a covered RV pad, with full hookups, propane, and laundry facilities for 24 hours of work per week. A work vehicle, equipment and PPE for duties are all provided. Any previous federal equipment or ATV training is desirable, but not mandatory.
DUTIES
Duties vary with volunteer experience, but include mowing, weed eating, painting, light construction, staining, landscape maintenance, picking up trash, installing/maintenance of signs, trail maintenance and other grounds/facility maintenance.
