Park Host Lake Mineral Wells State Park (Educational Program Assistance)
Come to the beautiful Cross Timbers of Texas as a park host, assisting the park rangers in providing visitors with educational activities. The park host will assist in nature hikes, natural and historical program activities and ranger lead outdoor recreational activities. The park host will also help to maintain the bird and wildlife viewing areas. In exchange for a minimum of 24 volunteer hours a week, hosts will be provided a full hook-up camp site, with electrical service, water, sewer and Wi-Fi in the area. City amenities within 3-5 miles from park. Groceries, laundry, restaurant, etc.
Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old. Criminal Background Checks are required for all persons living/staying in a host site. Park owned vehicles are available to park hosts for the performance of host duties.
