The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks & Resorts is seeking Warehouse Clerks to join our team for the 2021 season at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
This position is responsible for all data entry merchandise receiving to ensure accuracy and to ensure records match orders.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for the outdoors and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
- Data entry for receiving
- Follow up with vendors and receivers, regarding any additional information receiving invoice data.
- Pay close attention to invoices, price/cost information in order to maximize margins and comply with NPS 48 pricing structure for grocery product.
- Will pick product for stores.
Qualifications
- Retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of merchandise receiving processes preferred
- Ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel and NetSuite preferred
Computer knowledge required. - Typing 40 words per minute required.
- Basic math skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility.
- Must be able to use manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift.
- Warehouse environment, noise level may be moderate-to-high.
- Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season.
- Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment.
- Frequent lifting of 30 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of 50 lbs.
