Van Damme State Park
HOST POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Accepting applications for Summer 2021 April/May through Sept/Oct 2021 and Winter 2021 beginning October 2021-May 2022
This park is located two miles south of Mendocino along the scenic north coast and has a mild climate and wonderful trails. Host sites have water, electric (30 amp) and sewer hookups, but no propane available. There are two host sites. Some camp host duties include assisting campers, firewood and shower token sales, and ensuring campsites are in order for new arrivals. Candidates must be self-motivated and hard working. Looking for people with a strong desire to improve the parks and give outstanding customer service. Cell phone signals are not strong, but WiFi is available at the Visitor Center.
