DESCRIPTION: Campground Host needed to support the recreating public in a busy and challenging area at one of our recreation shorelines at Apache Lake.
Campground hosts needed to support the greater recreation area on the Tonto National Forest, Apache Lake Recreation Area. This area is set in a Sonoran Desert landscape and provides mild and temperate weather during the late fall, winter, and spring months. We are looking for two individuals preferably a couple to support the agency staff employed on the forest. Such tasks include: Litter removal, Landscaping and weed removal tasks, using rakes, digging tools, loppers, hand saws, and other hand tools. The incumbent(s) will also greet the recreating public, and visitors that occupy the area, fill reservations, and provide information to the supporting staff. The incumbent(s) will be provided safety equipment, and all other necessary equipment to support the recreation needs. A utility vehicle UTV is preferred, but not required for the position. This is a very busy recreation site. Support in this position is in high demand and needed to support the recreation needs.
