Camp Host needed in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho
Lava Campground is a small campground with 66 total sites. We have camper rentals, Rv sites and tent sites. Position would be Thursday -Monday.
Compensation: Full Hookup site with power, water and sewer and salary (500 per month.) Site has 20/30/50 amps.
Available for solo or couple,seasonal job, Mid May- Mid September 2021. Options for early arrival and later stay.
Applicants must have experience or be willing to learn. Must represent Lava Campground in an appropriate manner in appearance and attitude. Must have good communication skills. Must be polite and friendly. Applicants must have the ability to walk over uneven terrain. This job requires a background check. Applicants must provide their own RV to live on site.
Duties/Responsibilities: The seasonal camp host is on site to answer questions and provide information to guests. To abide by and oversee campground rules and regulations. The campground host will be expected to clean campsites/fire pits, clean and stock vault style toilets’ and restrooms cleaning 2-3 times daily. Watering flowers and grass, helping guests with needs, checking each site after guest leaves, delivering ice and firewood. A few hours of security Friday and Saturday nights. Make public contacts and other duties common to campground hosting. Taking in reservations for walk-in guests. Collect fees from the fee box. Camp hosts need to be able to conduct light physical work such as raking, shoveling and lifting up to 30 pounds.
