Camp hosts needed for multiple campgrounds. Our busy campgrounds require hosts that are welcoming, knowledgeable, capable, and reliable.
Campground hosts live on-site in each campground. We provide the sites, but they do not have hookups for electricity. Water is available, but not sewer or a dump station. We do not provide RVs or living quarters. We have provided tent cabins in the past, but only for those who are very familiar with long term living requirements in bear country.
Season is from when the snow melts (usually early June) to when it gets cold enough for pipes to freeze (usually early-mid October).
Campground hosts are paid for 40 hour work weeks. The job not only entails guest interaction and reservation management, but keeping the campground clean and presentable. This includes cleaning fire pits, picking up trash, painting, cleaning bathrooms, and dealing with late night disturbances.
All campgrounds are on Recreation.gov, please check them out! You will find ours with the format: (Lake Alpine) West Shore Campground, (Lake Alpine) Silvertip Campground, etc.
Pay: $14.00 per hour
