Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Cash Room Clerk to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
We are seeking candidates with a passion for both the outdoors and guest service. Yellowstone General Stores is a fast-paced evironment with lots of opportunites to learn and grow. We have dorm-style housing and RV Sites available. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities for our associates.
Responsibilities
Reconcile all cash drawers and safe counts.
Ensure proper cash handling procedures are being followed by all team members.
Properly handle team member cash outs on a shift basis and report any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure accurate accounting of all transactions
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail or customer service environment preferred.
Good communication skills; ability to communicate with guests and co-workers.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Basic math skills; ability to accurately handle money and count change.
Capable of following job guidelines and supervisors’ instructions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to stand for entire length of shift.
Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently.
Bending, reaching, climbing on step stool.
Visual acuity sufficient to see and distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system.
Majority of time spent in indoor, climate-controlled environment of retail store
May also be exposed to partially sheltered outdoor environment subject to climate fluctuations.
