Responsibilities
- Keep the concierge desk supplied with copies of official NPS newspapers, maps, NPS ranger program schedules, as well as reference materials such as a selection of hiking guides and other books with more in-depth information about the park.
- Must also walk around lobby, front lawn, and other areas engaging guests in conversations about Zion National Park and answering any questions in a friendly, courteous, professional and tactful manner.
- Operates the concierge desk to include assisting front desk and other operational areas with handing out literature and providing specific timely information.
- Give professional and friendly narrative tours in Zion’s Open Air TramPerform.
- Provides information to guests concerning National Park Service (NPS)/Zion.
- Assist in lodge programs and activities in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Knowledge of area attractions and directions.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of all NPS and Zion Lodge services, programs, locations, hours of operation, and ability to convey information to the guests.
- Must be able to work with out Supervision, have strong desire and show initiative to give the best guest service possible.
- Ability to interact in a cordial, courteous, professional and tactful manner with a very broad cross-section of guests.
- Prior public speaking experience recommended.
- Knowledge of area attractions and directions.
- CDL with passenger endorsement.
