*Yonder is hiring for the 2022 season which starts March 1st 2022 and will end in the late fall.*
We are looking for a Kitchen Manager for our park.
Wages starting at $18/hr.
What does that look like? Here are some things you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining systems set in place
- Responsible for ordering while maintaining budget costs (don’t worry, it’s 2 orders a week!)
- Leading by example cooking, cleaning, and prepping elbow to elbow with a small kitchen staff
- Upholding kitchen staff to kitchen procedures, processes, and recipes
- Working in a small space efficiently while maintaining order and cleanliness
- Being self-motivated and have the ability to work alone efficiently
- Helping maintain a staff culture of accountability and understanding
The Kitchen Manager reports to the General Manager and will manage a food truck and the General Store’s grab-n-go options with a small kitchen staff. Facilities include the food truck and a small prep kitchen.
A little more info: Yonder Escalante is located near Bryce Canyon National Park and within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (midway between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas).
We are looking for great humans who have their own self-contained housing / “rig” (van-lifers, RV-roamers, tiny-home warriors, bus-dwellers, rugged adventure-seekers). Our employee grounds have full hook-ups, and our staff has access to those beautiful bathhouses as well. Limited employee housing available for full-time employees.
