Who We Are:
Fort Lone Tree is a high adventure, non-profit faith based summer camp located at the base the Capitan Mountains in Capitan, NM for Elementary – High School students. We run 10 weeks of summer camp serving all ages. We offer our campers archery, rifles, rockwall, high ropes, giant swing, waterslide, horsemanship, zipline and a few other activities.
What We Need:
We are looking for a cook for the summer capable of cooking meals on time for 130+. We traditionally hire full-time staff, but are trying a new avenue of employment. We need an experienced cook in a commercial setting that has the ability to prepare a menu, order food and prepare food to the proper specifications health wise and on time according to our schedule. You will be responsible to serve 3 meals a day, with 1 week working with the ADA and their nutritionists. Must have experience and proper certification ie: FoodSafe. FoodHandler.
What You Get:
An amazing summer serving students of all ages. Full 50amp RV hookup. $500-$600 a week DOE. Most weekends off to explore Billy The Kid country. No housing outside an RV spot is available.
