Job Description
Come spend the summer at one of our private forest land entrances in the panhandle of Idaho meeting and greeting our visitors. You will be able to enjoy camping as a Host in some of the most beautiful areas of private timberland. What we ask of you is to answer questions and share information to visitors and keep a visitor log, all while enjoying our natural beauty and wildlife. This is an “on-call” type position, meaning that you can do whatever it is you like, as long as you are available to meet and greet guests to the property when they arrive. Boon docking experience is a plus!
We provide a dry camp RV site that includes:
· Black water holding tank and removal
· Weekly potable water delivery
· Trash removal
· Patrol support and Security
· Plenty of Nature to view and enjoy!
You will receive:
· A salary
· Two mid-weekdays off
· Back-up support from our security patrols
· A beautiful place to enjoy while working with us for the season
Sites available:
Thompson Creek – Located near Newman Lake, WA, this site is in a creek canyon so lots of shade from summer heat and no cell service. There is a Qwest hard line telephone available (we provide). Employment begins on May 14 and ends on October 24.
Tsemini – Located near Spirit Lake, ID, this entrance serves as the check in point for the Empire Trails hiking and mountain biking network as well as a major forest access for full size vehicles. Awesome lake views from the trails. Employment starts on May 14 and ends on October 24.
M43B – Located near Blanchard, ID, this is a favored sportsman’s hunting access that serves both Idaho and Washington hunters. Local residents like to collect firewood here and it is a quick access to higher elevations for huckleberry picking. Employment starts on May 14 and ends on October 24.
Fish Creek – Located near Twin Lakes, ID, this is our most popular access. The lake residents will make you feel right at home. The site is located on a working cattle ranch with great valley views. Great fishing can be found at Twin Lakes or in Fish Creek if you love the challenge of small streams. Employment starts on May 14 and ends on October 24.
