DESCRIPTION:
Assist district staff in the care and maintenance of Vedauwoo Campground which is located in the Pole Mountain Area of the Medicine Bow National Forest. The campground which has two loops winding around boulders and cliffs of the Vedauwoo rock formations. The campground has a total of 28 campsite nestled in a stand of Ponderosa Pines.
The Campground which is located 20 minute drive from downtown Laramie, WY. We are looking for a camp host who will be the acting friendly face of the Forest Service and assist in the maintenance and care of the campground.
RV pad provide with sewer hookup. We are looking for either an individual or a couple for this opportunity.
Duties Include:
Posting Reservation: Posting reservations and assisting campers with reservations and site selections.
Cleaning facilities: Cleaning bathrooms and campsites.
Visitor Contacts: Greet and assist visitors, answer questions and explain regulations which apply to them. Distribute maps and handout brochures. Answering questions about the area and campground.
