RV INFORMATION: For your valuable Volunteer services we will provide you with a campsite hook-up (Water, electric, sewage and laundry facilities) at our beautiful Volunteer Village at Bowen’s Creek Park.

Volunteer Activities• General Assistance DescriptionVolunteers Needed For All Duties Below: Volunteer positions are available Year Round 2020 Are you looking for a new challenge in life, enjoy talking and working with the public and also want to utilize all your life’s experiences and education? Volunteering at the beautiful USACE Philpott Lake may be your ticket to enjoying your retirement years or spare time! Volunteer positions that are available: Volunteer Hosts in the Visitor Center – Provides valuable information to park visitors, answers phones and 2 ways radios, maintains the brochure program, keep accurate records in log-book and sells annual passes. Parks Beautification – gardening, mowing grass, trimming trees. Park Safety Inspections – Inspects playgrounds and all parks for hazardous conditions. Boat Patrol Assistant to Rangers. Educational Outreach Programs – Provides environmental and water safety programs at campgrounds and beach areas. Maintaining/Building Trails and Maintenance of other Park Facilities. Boundary Line Inspections – Requires extensive hiking through steep rough terrain. Lakeshore Cleanup. Campground Host – Provides valuable information to park visitors collects camping fees, performs minor maintenance and lakeshore cleanup. Yes, you can make a difference to your community!
