DESCRIPTION:
Assist district staff in the care and maintenance of Bear Lake Campground which is located 15 miles from the town of Yampa, CO. It is a great entry point into the Flattops Wilderness Area. Host will be the friendly face of the Forest Service to visitors of Bear Lake Campground.
Bear Lake Campground is a modern 42 site campground nestled in a scenic Spruce/Fir Forest adjacent to Bear Lake. There are great fishing, hiking, OHV and many more outdoor opportunities abound.
Host will be the acting friendly face of the Forest Service and assist in the maintenance and care of the campground.
RV pad provide with water and sewer hookup. Generator gas and propane provided. A $25 per day reimbursement is provided.
Campground location is 15 miles west of the of Yampa, CO.
