Job Title: Maintenance                                                                 Reports To: General Manager

SUMMARY

Camp Eddy  is currently looking for reliable, outgoing and motivated members of our team. The Maintenance member will be responsible for the essential functions for the Maintenance position. Performing general maintenance and upkeep of the campground groundskeeping and helping with other additional duties as required.

COMPENSATION:

$16-22/hr DOE

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Comply with all Campground operating policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, presentable workplace and professional appearance
Welcome guests to the campground with a positive attitude
Knowledge of tools, materials and practices associated with building and grounds maintenance
Perform repairs on electric, plumbing and carpentry
General area maintenance, including but not limited to community spaces, lawns, paths, and sites.
Pick up trash and keep Campground free of trash
Escort guests to sites when needed.
Assist General Manager with additional duties deemed necessary for proper operation of the park.
Routine maintenance and cleaning of bathhouses.
Routine maintenance and cleaning of tiny homes, sites and other accommodations.
Seasonal maintenance of tiny homes, sites, and other accommodations.
Keep track of and communicate with the General Manager any maintenance issues arise to ensure prompt follow up.
Other related duties as needed

Supervisory & Training responsibilities:

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience & Skills:

Maintenance experience preferred
High School Diploma
Accurate, attention to detail, service oriented
Positive attitude, strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Professional demeanor
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Grand Junction, Colorado.
Able To:

Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Learn specific skills
Remain calm under pressure or in the face of an emergency.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals.
Plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision.
Possess a current and valid driver’s license, preferred.
Work independently or in a team environment and take direction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to use general maintenance equipment
Must continually lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Must be able to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl to fulfill cleaning and repair/maintenance tasks for up to 4 hours in length
Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire 8-hour shift
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Must be able to grasp, write, use repetitive motion, listen, and hear
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus
