Experience the beautiful, magical Black Hills of South Dakota, a work campers dream! They are seeped in western history and offer tons of thing to see and do! Crazy Horse Memorial, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, Badlands National Park, Jewel Cave National Park, Devils Tower National Park are all within the area along with many, many more local attractions.
Bridle Ridge Horse and RV camp, nestled just outside of Custer has a last minuet opening for a dependable camp host couple or single. You do not have to have horse experience but you must be comfortable around them. We are a new 25 full hook campground with barns in a beautiful pristine setting. Our guest bring and care for their own horses and ride out into the forest directly from camp.
In exchange for 30 hours per week with 2 to 3 days off in a row we are offering a FHU site (69.00 per night), laundry facilities, 100 GB of Verizon internet, FREE chiropractic care and and end of season bonus.
Our season runs May 1st -September 30th. There is some wiggle room regarding arrival and departure dates.
Duties vary but will include grounds work, using a riding lawnmore, cleaning firepits, light maintenance, cleaning of a small 2 stall bath house and checking in guest and horses. This is an outdoor somwhat physical job. You must be able to pick up 40 pounds, as in a saddle or a bag of feed.
