Job Description
Elderberry Hospitality LLC is hiring on behalf of Zion Mountain Ranch, a ranch-style resort, and is currently seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook to join the dynamic culinary team at our on-site restaurant, Cordwood. The Line Cook is responsible for carrying out the creation of recipes designed by our Executive Chef, as well as other responsibilities under his direction. We are a farm to table establishment with an emphasis on local, organic suppliers wherever possible. Our establishment caters to couples, families, and large groups from around the world who are looking for memorable meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment is required
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a high-stress environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Benefits:

- On-site housing provided.
Relocation required. On-site housing is included as part of your compensation for $2/per day or hook-ups for your own RV are also available if you don’t already live in the area. We are in a rural location, so your own transportation is needed. The ranch expects its staff to maintain high standards in actions, grooming and congeniality.
