Maintenance Work Camper

Indian Cove Resort Campground is a 350 plus site campground that is member owned. It is located in Virginia Beach approx. 2.5 miles from Sandbridge Beach and on the Back Bay.

We are seeking a Maintenance Workcamper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and appearance of our campground.

Position is open and ready to fill.

Duties:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, plumbing, electrical and repairing equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management

• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment

• Some lawn care and waste pick-up as needed

• Able to perform assigned job duties

• Able to lift 20-50lbs

Preferred:

• Licensed driver

• CETP certification (propane)

Skills:

• Team Work: Ability to follow directions and work as a team

• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills when interacting with members or staff

• Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems and equipment

• English Proficiency: Good communication skills in English for effective interaction

• Fabrication Skills: Ability to fabricate or repair items as needed

• Ohmmeter Usage: Knowledge of using an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting

• Maintenance Expertise: Skilled in maintaining various systems, equipment and structures
