Are you still looking for a winter work camping gig? Then, read on!
If you’re like many RVers, you’re probably looking for jobs in warm locations in Texas, Arizona, California, and Florida. Of course, searching by state is handy, but here are some other things to consider when you’re looking for a winter work camping job:
1) Decide where you WANT to be
- Already know where you’re going? If you want to be close to someone or somewhere during the winter, then start there. Search for jobs near your desired location. As we all know, states like California and Texas are HUGE and so the exact location can make all the difference between sunny beaches and chilly rain.
- Can’t make up your mind? No prob! You can still use this map to see what’s available all over the country.
2) Decide what type of work you’re looking for
Are you good with tools and maintenance? Or maybe you want an office position? Search for jobs that focus on these skill sets, whether they be outdoors/maintenance, office work, retail, or food service. When searching, just choose the “Category” that best suits you.
3) Make it happen, cap’n!
When you know where you want to be and what you want to do, all you have to do is wait for the right opportunity. To help you stay on top of the latest gigs, you can:
- Bookmark the winter work camping jobs page
- Add “Winter” to the Availability section of your work camper resume
- Sign up for weekly emails that alert you to the newest jobs
- Check these “jobs by state” pages
