CAMPGROUND: Maintenance & Special Skills

DEPT: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

AVAILABILITY: 1/15/2020–1/15/2021

RV INFORMATION: A campsite is provided for your services. We do ask for 24 hours per person for the volunteer site per week. Campsites have electric and water with a dump station conveniently located close by. There are shower and bathhouses close to the site as well.

Volunteer Activities• Construction/Maintenance • Other • Trail/Campground Maintenance • General Assistance DescriptionMaintenance & Special Skills: Dates: This Position is Year Round 2020 – But Especially Fall, Winter or Spring Months Are The Most Desirable. Volunteer Duties: Water trees, mow the grounds, trail work, maintenance, liter pick up at designated areas and help develop programs with Interpretive Ranger, some water safety on busy week-ends if needed. Special Skills: We seek special skills in communication, plumbing, construction, painting and landscaping. We seek carpenters, teachers, painters, educator’s, there’s a place for you here at Lake Success! We are snuggled just off Highway 190 which leads to National Parks and beautiful small towns to explore. Hope to see you soon!
