Housekeeper, immediate opening!
R-Ranch at the Lake is hiring a housekeeper for the 2022 summer season, with possibility for a year-round position. We are hiring on a rolling basis and can hire immediately!
R-Ranch at the Lake is located 30 minutes from Downtown Napa, California, in the rolling hills around Lake Berryessa. There are 1093 acres of wooded trails, campsites, cabins, stable facilities, and Napa County’s largest pool.
The housekeeping team is responsible for the cleanliness of 8 campground bathhouses clean, 80+ cabins, lodge facilities, youth/teen center, as well as the exteriors around these buildings.

Housekeeper Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to manage your time efficiently
- Work well unsupervised
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning
- High school diploma
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests
- Hard working, self-motivated individual
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Comfortable with ladders
- Able to perform light groundskeeping
Housekeeping Responsibilities Include:
- Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment
- Notifying managers of necessary repairs
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Assisting guests when necessary
- Keeping the storage areas organized and clean
In the winter the housekeeping department works on projects such as: painting (floors/walls), sewing, deep cleaning, carpet/floor replacements and groundskeeping. If considering year-round employment must be comfortable doing these projects.
