On Site Manager, RV Park & Marina
Sugar Barge RV Resort & Marina located in Bethel Island, CA
Centrally located between Sacramento and San Francisco on the California delta. Beautiful RV park with 114 RV sites, 50 boat slips, 200 dry storage spaces, boat rentals, and full service waterfront dining restaurant.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Full time, permanent salaried position for a couple or single. Work 5 days per week — Busy summer weekends. Days off Tuesday and Wednesday. RV site provided with electric, water, sewer and wi-fi. Must own your own RV. Requires very strong maintenance/operations and office management experience.
The Manager(s) responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee and Participate in the day-to-day operations of the RV Park, Boat / RV Storage Facility and Marina which includes fishing boat and pontoon boat and kayak rentals.
Manage staff of 6 to 12 hourly employees – (excluding restaurant). This includes recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, mentoring and releasing.
Focus on excellent customer service and adding value to the resort experience of our guests.
Manage and implement maintenance programs for the assets of the resort—rental boats, golf carts, landscape equipment, tractors, buildings, pool, well, docks, etc.
Hands on repairs as needed with staff. Which may include irrigation, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, propane and fuel.
Office reservations and accounts receivable as needed
Oversee cleaning program & supplies for facilities & rentals.
Marina and RV Park Store stocking and inventory control.
Maximize the revenue and profitability of the resort.
Make suggestions for improvements of the resort.
Report directly to the owners.
Requirements
Previous successful RV Park and/or marina management.
Must have general repairs and maintenance experience–be mechanically inclined.
Must have strong office/computer skills.
Must have hands on reservation software experience
Must have an RV in great condition not to exceed 10-15 years of age
Outstanding customer service skills—hospitality driven.
Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail
Experience creating and implementing policies and procedures
MS Word & MS Excel Proficiency

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
