RV INFORMATION: Volunteers will be provided a campsite with full hook-ups including water, sewer, and electric, in one of our lakeside campgrounds.

Volunteer Activities• Office/Clerical • Other • Visitor Information • General Assistance DescriptionVolunteer Gate Attendant/Summer Months: Dates: March 01, 2020 through October 01, 2020. The volunteer may stay as many “seasons” as they like as long as they are able to continue to perform the duties asked of them. Sam Rayburn is looking for personable volunteers to work as Gate Attendants through the summer. These volunteers will be part of an important team that greets and assists visitors as well as keeps our parks clean and camper friendly. The duties include but are not limited to surveillance, customer service and camper check in, as well as occasional maintenance. The work schedule requires 20 hours per week and the volunteer must supply their own self-contained trailer or RV. Applicants should be personable, organized, level-headed, able to pass a background check, and willing to work the full desired season. Preference will be given to applicants willing to stay for extended periods of time, those with previous RV experience, as well as those with strong customer service backgrounds.
