RV INFORMATION: Campsites will be available for volunteer use. Volunteers must provide their own camper (must be in good repair and appearance). Applicants must submit a photo of their camper and pass a background check.

Volunteer Activities• Office/Clerical • Other • Trail/Campground Maintenance • Visitor Information • General Assistance DescriptionGate Attendant at Day-Use Park: Center Hill Lake is looking for a couple or individual who loves to camp and would be interested in volunteering for a summer position. Location:  Ragland Bottom Recreation Area. Typical duties may include: being a point of contact for visitors, staffing Day-Use area, collecting money, meeting and greeting visitors, promoting the Corps water safety initiative, light maintenance duties, trail maintenance, and other duties that may arise throughout the season. Hours required: Working minimum of 20 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Work is typically Thursday – Sunday, every other week. Special Skills: Ability to be bonded and capable of handling recreation use fees, ability to communicate effectively with the public, ability to maintain a set schedule and turn in progress report of duties performed and willingness to commit to a long term agreement.
