AVAILABILITY: 4/1/2020–9/30/2020

RV INFORMATION: A campsite will be available for volunteer use. Volunteers must provide their own camper (must be in good repair and appearance).

Volunteer Activities• Other • Visitor Information • General Assistance DescriptionInterpretive Program Presenter: Center Hill Lake is looking for a couple or individual who loves to camp and would be interested in volunteering for a summer position. Location: Center Hill Lake and Surrounding Area. Typical duties may include: Present weekly programs and events at Corps campgrounds, Jr. Ranger programs, school activities, and other special events.  Programs may include water safety, wildlife, boating, and other outdoor based activities. Volunteers will be instructed on how to present programs. Hours required: Working approximately 20 hours per week, may include holidays and weekends. Special Skills: Ability to be bonded and capable of handling recreation use fees, ability to communicate effectively with the public, ability to maintain a set schedule and turn in progress report of duties performed and willingness to commit to a long term agreement.
