DESCRIPTION:
Volunteer at Visitors Center needed for the 2022 recreation season at Rockland Recreation Area from July 20 – December 30, 2022 (negotiable with background check). COVID 19 vaccine or weekly testing is required.
Volunteer at the Old Hickory Lake Visitors Center needed for the 2022 recreation season at Rockland Recreation Area. This position requires a responsible couple who desires to work as a public relations liaison for the Corps of Engineers. Preference is given to couples who desire to spend most of the summer recreation season.
Volunteers are expected to reside at Rockland Recreation Area. Volunteers will work in visitors center 20hrs a week. The work week is Mon-Fri, you can choose your day off.
Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering phone calls and directing them to the correct person, organizing files, making copies, and other administrative duties that come up. This position does not require computer access.
QUALIFICATIONS
Customer Service, organization, good communication skills, ability to explain/direct/instruct visitors.
