DESCRIPTION

Volunteer Activities• Tour Guide/Interpretation • Visitor Information • General Assistance DescriptionActivities/ Responsibilities Provide information and assistance to park visitors Staff park visitor center desk (may also staff park vistor contact station) Operate Eastern National cash register Work directly with interpretive rangers and Eastern National staff on a wide range of projects and activities Interpretive roving of trails, overlooks and park campground Use of park two-way radio and telephones Assist with Gap Cave tours (1.5 miles of hiking, 183 stairs) Assist with park organized events Assist with living history demonstrations Conduct formal and informal programs Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor   Duration: September and October 2020 Estimated total hours per week: 32 hour minimum   Uniform Requirements Volunteer will be required to wear an official VIP uniform while on duty.   Housing RV Pad (full hook ups)  No other housing options are available   Please include current federal background check status in application   HOUSING & AMENITIESType: Trailer/RV PadsDescription: RV Pad (full hook ups)No other housing options are available
