Most duties will require the ability to work independently. Administration: Duties may include but are not limited to greeting visitors, answering phones, providing refuge information to the general public, filing, recording visitor use and volunteer hours. General Maintenance: Duties include but are not limited to: trail maintenance, light painting, gardening, mowing. Valid drivers license required to operate government vehicles. Must be available to work weekends. A uniform shirt/vest will be provided and is required to maintain the professional consistency of the service. Any necessary training will be provided. In return for 24 hours per week per person, the refuge will provide full hookups, including electric, water and sewer. A minimum of 3 month commitment is preferred.
